Big A## Calendar ("BAC", "we", "us") is a personal goal-tracking and calendar app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Account data: Your email address and a hashed password when you sign up. We never store your password in plain text.
Calendar entries: Text entries you add manually or via scanning, including dates, entry type (task, goal, event, note), completion status, and optional color labels.
Goal data: Your 1-6-4 system entries: Misogi, adventures, and quarterly habits.
Calendar photos: When you use the scan feature, your photo is sent to our server for OCR processing. Photos are not stored permanently unless you have cloud sync enabled.
WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT
We do not collect or sell advertising data.
We do not share your data with third parties for marketing.
We do not use tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, or behavioral advertising tools.
We do not read the contents of your device calendar without explicit permission.
AI AND PHOTO PROCESSING
The scan feature uses Anthropic Claude (a third-party AI service) to extract text from your calendar photos. Photos are sent to Anthropic's API for processing and are subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not store your photos on our servers after processing unless cloud sync is active.
The BAC Assistant feature sends your calendar data (entries, goals, streak) to Anthropic's API to generate responses. This data is used only to answer your questions and is not used to train AI models per Anthropic's API terms.
DATA STORAGE
Your data is stored in a secure database. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
If you use the app without creating an account, data is stored locally on your device and is not synced to our servers.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
You can export your calendar entries and goal data on request.

CHILDREN
BAC is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of BAC after changes constitutes acceptance.
